The Miracle of Life
After his dad suffered a brain aneurysm, Jamil’s life changed forever. His relationships with his father, family, and friends, as well as his perspective on life, transformed.

One realization became immediately apparent: Everyday that you are alive is a miracle. Everyday that your loved ones wake up is a miracle.

The North Star of Optimal Living
Fueled by gratitude and a passion for healing, Jamil set out to empower, inspire, and help people live an extraordinary life without regret.

As discussed extensively in this episode, a key component of living an extraordinary life is to be authentic: to truly be yourself.

When people seek to appeal to what other’s may think or want, they wear a mask. Yet, the biggest regret that most people have later in life is that they were not themselves.

Dedicating a lifetime to pleasing others is a recipe for regret. Dr. Jamil seeks to inspire people to discover their passions that set their soul on fire and experience limitless joy and potential.

Rationalizing Irrational Fear
Among the many things that hold people back, fear is a primary culprit. Rational fears (fear of encountering a bear or jumping out of a plane) are biological and necessary for human survival.

However, most fears are irrational. They are self-manifested in our minds; thoughts that only exist within the constructs of consciousness.

While the biological fear and stress response are real, the cause of the fear is not. Hypothetical situations can be detrimental to health and performance.

Examples include: “What if they don’t like me?” “What are they going to think of me?” “Most people do it differently and I don’t want to be different.”

Breaking Through
Everyone has self-imposed constraints. But everyone also has the ability to overcome their barriers and create a meaningful, loving life.

Many times, a person just needs help in discovering, addressing, and overcoming their burdens and unleashing a new life experience. If that sounds like you, Dr. Jamil can help you to live an extraordinary life without regret.
